Uche - I wonder if y'all're talking well-nigh "Never Can Say Goodbye" by The Temptations (or a number of other artists). We often mishear lyrics. The relevant portion of the lyrics to that song are shut: "Never can say goodbye, no, no, no, no, at present / Never can say cheerio / I keep thinking that our problems … ." Let me point out that never and always are consummate opposites and then I think you may have misheard the lyrics slightly. I hope this is the one.

Valene from Missouri on September 11, 2016:

Wow, what a great list you've made! I always liked that "I tin't make you honey me" song by Bonnie Raitt, which I estimate is more than a interruption up song than a goodbye song.

FlourishAnyway (author) from Us on September 04, 2016:

Catherine - You have no idea how many times I take the wrong artist and have to double cheque myself! (That'southward why it takes me so long to publish these.) You lot are wonderful simply as y'all are, lovely Catherine! Don't modify a thing.

Catherine Giordano from Orlando Florida on September 04, 2016:

FlorishAnyway: Forgive my senility. Now that y'all mention it, it probably was Peter Paul and Mary. The airplane office probably caused me to call up Jefferson Plane. I tin't trust my retentivity anymore. I am glad you lot included it.

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on September 04, 2016:

Catherine - A number of artists recorded many of these songs. As for that one, I listed it every bit #24 and credited Peter, Paul & Mary, although John Denver could have also been mentioned. Information technology does have a very nice entreatment, all these years later! Thank you lot for sharing your trip down retention lane.

Catherine Giordano from Orlando Florida on September 04, 2016:

Some other nifty playlist. But you lot left off my favorite "I'k Leaving on a Jet Plane" by the Jefferson Airplane. "So kiss me and say you love me..." It is enduring in my brain because I was in San Francisco in the "flower-child" heyday, packed and set to have a jet plane back to New York City the next morning when I starting time heard that song.

FlourishAnyway (author) from U.s.a. on September 02, 2016:

Frank - I used to limit myself to 25, 35, or other round numbers but then found quickly that with new releases there would e'er be additional songs so why even start out with such a number? It'll only change as people brand adept suggestions and all. It doesn't take much on my function to go ahead and offer greater content in the form of a tabular array either. Hope that answers it.

Frank Atanacio on September 02, 2016:

91 songs.. cheerio songs.. Simply curious Flourish.. why the odd numbers? and cheers for the trip down memory lane..:)

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on August 26, 2016:

Carb Diva - Give thanks you. I am and so deplorable about the loss of your honey feline friend. I would definitely hold with you about the importance that pets play in our lives and the grief that their passing involves. I have six cats now, take ever had multiple cats but recently lost the one I referred to as my "Jesus Christ Cat" because he was such a benevolent and gentle soul. His name was Shepard and he oddly had a neurological disability that mirrored my own MS. We were in the struggle together. He died, however, of cancer of the larynx, crawling up next to me one morning to let me know it was finally his time. We had him euthanized. I'm so sad that you did not take the chance to say goodbye to your sweetness babe. They are definitely our children. She knows that you lot loved her. I hope you lot are not afraid to love once more, equally there are and so many darling cats who could utilize a skillful pet mom similar yous. The ranked list I cite is based on psychological inquiry studies and I bet many people practise consider pets as family, as you and I do.

Linda Lum from Washington State, Usa on August 25, 2016:

Flourish - Some other great series. I actually enjoyed this. May I add one more to your list of 'goodbyes' (stressful life events)? The decease of a family pet--or maybe that is covered under #3. Our eleven-year one-time kitty died ii years ago from a stroke or heart assault. In an instant she was gone, and there was no time for goodbyes. I still ache for her.

FlourishAnyway (writer) from USA on Baronial 25, 2016:

Heidi - I would bet that'south soon sometime! It'south funny how many different playlists you can come up with for situations. I've added your suggestion. Thank you!

FlourishAnyway (writer) from United states on August 25, 2016:

Susan - The vocal by Trace Adkins is so authentic. It's as well bad country doesn't extend much across the The states and Canada. Some of information technology is admittedly crawly, very tricky, often involving a story. Thanks for stopping past!

Susan Hambidge from Kent, England on Baronial 25, 2016:

I always bask reading your 'songs for every situation' compilations. Nosotros don't hear a lot of country tracks hither in the UK but the Trace Adkins 1 is then full of emotion and truth, that one actually brings a lump to my throat.

Heidi Thorne from Chicago Surface area on August 25, 2016:

So volition the adjacent playlist be Songs virtually Hello? :) Another keen playlist! Here'south my add together: Paul Simon's "50 Means to Leave Your Lover." Take a smashing day!

Pecker Holland from Olympia, WA on Baronial 25, 2016:
